Hi, Iām Paige Lombardi.
I graduated from Princeton University in 2008 with a degree in art history, but realized pretty quickly that I was far more interested in food than the art world.
I attended the Institute of Culinary Education in NYC in 2009 and finished my degree with an externship at the NY Times Four-Star Italian restaurant Del Posto (RIP!). That externship turned into my first restaurant job and a three-year stint having my eyes opened to the fun and hard work that is line cooking. I followed my time at Del Posto with a year as a cook at Gramercy Tavern, and then moved to Boston in 2013 and landed at James Beard award-winning chef Ana Sortun's restaurant Oleana in Cambridge.
I started out at Oleana as a cook, then became the sous chef, then spent my final seven years there in the role of chef de cuisine. I had a lot of fun and learned a TON about Middle Eastern food, managing people, time, and the unexpected (!), and how great food can truly bring people together.
Outside of work, I married my husband (who is also a restaurant guy) and had my first daughter in January 2020 (hello COVID baby!). Looking for a change of pace leading up to the birth of my second daughter, I left Oleana in January 2023.
Now, I am fulfilling my love of creating food on a more intimate scale by cooking delicious, real meals for folks in their homes.
